Donna was supported by a team of wonderful professionals who helped her to get to her goal!
Shaun Brewster is a Sports Musculoskeletal Therapist, Exercise Physiologist and owns and operates Inspired Health and Fitness in Rosebud on the Mornington Peninsula. Outside of his clinical practice he makes up half of the Brewsters Running team at Brewsters Running where he is the author of a range of ebooks, videos and a blog to help runners get more from their running. He also coaches runners and teams to help them achieve their goals.
Shaun’s time extends into his work as an educator at Australia’s leading Sports Therapy college and professional development workshops which he delivers for health practitioners.
Public speaking on motivation, goal setting and personal achievement is another passion of his and in his spare time he loves to run Ultra-Marathons and spend time with his children.
Chris O’Driscoll is co-owner and Nutrition Expert at Brewsters Running, and he has been a keen runner for the past 12 years. With experience in running events from 5k to 100k, his preference is for the longer distance races.
Good nutrition has always been a very important part of Chris’s life and he has consumed more books and spent more time studying nutrition than he cares to remember. Through studying the effects of nutrition on athletes and how this impacts their performance, he brings valuable information and tools to the Brewsters Running community.
Chris will be monitoring Donna’s diet and assisting her with the management of her diabetes as she progresses through the training and works towards her marathon goal.
In his down time, Chris spends time with his wife and two beautiful young daughters, Abbey and Ava.
